Laying tables since 1997.

Over the years, Al Dente has served guests at different addresses. These days you’ll find us at number 1 Lark Lane, in a standalone building with a big conservatory under a glass roof: plants, warm string lights and velvet booths. Outside, there’s a covered terrace.

The room is lively and the service busy but attentive. Start with calamari or halloumi fries, then a steak or a fire-oven pizza; finish with tiramisu or baklava.

The breadOur bread is homemade, and we even import the flour for it. It comes with the soup, the creamy garlic mushrooms and both king prawn starters.

Yes. Our set lunch is 2 courses for £13.95 or 3 courses for £17.95, Monday to Friday, 12pm–⁠4.30pm. It isn’t served on bank holidays or special dates. See the lunch menu.
